Hi, I'm Jennifer — a mom, a grandma, an animal lover, and the hands behind every single product at Balms and Blooms.

I've been crafty my whole life. From a young age, making things with my hands has been how I show love — and that hasn't changed a bit. These days, between my full-time job and a house full of animals I adore, I pour that same heart into every product I make for you.

Small Batches, Big Care

Everything at Balms and Blooms is made in small batches — because quality matters more to me than quantity. I'm not running a factory. I'm a person who genuinely cares about what goes into the things I make and the people who receive them.

That means I dehydrate all of the fruit you'll find in my products right here at home. My beef tallow is rendered from locally sourced suet — because if I'm putting something on your skin, it should come from a good place. When making my candles, I choose vessels that are beautiful enough to keep and reuse as home décor long after the last burn.

Why I Started Balms and Blooms

I've always believed the best gifts are the ones made with intention — something that took time, thought, and real ingredients. Balms and Blooms grew out of a desire to share that with more people. Whether it's a candle for your coffee table, a balm for your nightstand, or a gift set for someone you love, I want every item to feel like it came from someone who cared.
